The Stirling All Suites Hotel underwent a deep energy retrofit with comprehensive renovations which transformed the building into a high efficiency and contemporary boutique hotel.

Located in downtown Nelson, the 1914 heritage building was formerly a miner’s hotel. The renovation maintains many of the heritage features while also integrating them with modern features and amenities. We took advantage of the requirement for new stairs on the north end of the building and made it an opportunity to also add balconies with incredible views out to Kootenay Lake. It was a pleasure to bring the client’s vision to life and to see this unique hotel transform within our community.
