Transforming and reviving the existing church building, this project converted it from residential suites into a new physiotherapy clinic.
To meet the clinic’s operational needs, the design incorporated flexible spaces, including an administration area, treatment rooms, and a fitness center. We worked with the church’s unique architectural features to create an inviting gym space, filled with light, and fostering a positive atmosphere for patients and therapists.
Preserving the building’s character was a key focus throughout the renovation. We carefully maintained its original architectural details while integrating contemporary elements, ensuring that the identity of the church is celebrated in its new function.
Additionally, we prioritized accessibility throughout the project, ensuring that all areas were welcoming and usable for everyone. The building also includes a residential unit that provides convenient access to downtown. This project not only revitalized the space and enhanced the community’s access to vital health services, but it also returned the building to its original purpose, creating a supportive environment that offers individuals a place for well-being and interaction.
