We believe that design is the catalyst for how we
experience the world around us, and we want to do
our best to make sure those experiences are positive
for everyone.

We believe that we bring something kind of special to the Kootenays. Though we are located hundreds of kilometers from any big city, our firm has the capacity and resources of large office. Delivering quality architectural services within a rural context is what we do, inspired by the natural surroundings and all the things that make this area special.
We are deeply involved in our community, and we don’t just talk-the-talk. Cover proudly participates in local affordable housing, arts and culture, environmental, and low carbon initiatives.

We always want to support projects within our community here in the Kootenays, and to help build strong communities throughout British Columbia.
To us, this is best captured within the work we do on affordable and supportive housing, both through BC Housing and with grassroots community groups. Some of this work is sensitive in nature so you won’t see it on our website but we are proud to be a part of these projects and helping the communities they serve.

We love working on projects that create and improve recreation, arts, and cultural spaces for communities! These spaces bring people together and shape communities through culture, wellness, and play!
We believe that these community hubs should be designed to support diverse and intergenerational communities, creating spaces that are safe, accessible, and welcoming for everyone.
We’ve been lucky to be a part of some amazing projects, some big and some small, from accessibility upgrades to local recreation facilities, to retrofits of existing cultural centres, and the creation of new art hubs and park facilities.
