The Yaqan Nuʔkiy (Lower Kootenay Band) purchased the hot spring resort from previous owners in 2015 and consider it a significant and important return of the Ktunaxa peoples to this site and traditional homelands. In the years since, Cover has been a part of the ongoing development and renovation of the resort, including the new Hotel block, renovation of the restaurant, and hot spring entry. Work continues with the development of potential future staff housing. The hot spring resort is a local treasure and Cover is pleased to see it continue to grow and offer an exceptional experience to visitors.
