Cover Architecture has recently designed the new MRI renovation/addition at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook, BC. There had been a previous Concept Design Report completed in January 2016, but following numerous client and user stakeholder consultations, a new schematic design was reached with COVER. This new design better addresses the users updated functional and operational objectives. The flow and layout of the suite will be featured in the ‘IH MRI Safety Considerations’ document as an example of best practice 4-Zone MRI suite design.
